If you suffer from heat, you can avoid the current heatwave by staying by us. The heatwave is hitting France again — it’s hot, very hot, even too hot. That’s why I decided to move to the Manche region four years ago. Here in the northern Cotentin, the temperature is bearable — even pleasant in the shade, like in the grove at the back of the garden.
As shown on the map, most France will face high temperature, except west Britanny, a small piece of the most Northern part of France, and North Cotentin – as always – where we are located.
Cotentin will become a climat refuge in 2100 according to Meteo France. I bet more and more people will come to live in the area; and even more to spend their hollidays.
The two couples (from Paris) who came for the weekend in their vintage cars left this morning. Two rooms have therefore become available – Ceylan and Porquerolles – and I still have space to welcome you. Ceylan is the coolest – and widest – room of both. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to settle into a cool house in order to avoid current heatwave!
I do not advice to stay at the beach all day long, since the sun will probably hit hard. They are plenty of forests and gardens in the area to “hide” and relax while enjoying Cotentin’s nature
