Even during heatwaves – which we don’t suffer to much from here in Cotentin – Sciotot Beach – a quick 12 minutes drive – is the venue for the famous beach volleyball tournaments organized by VBFLP (Volley-Ball Flamanville Les Pieux). Sciotot 2025 beach volley tournaments dates are now known:

All 24 teams compete in 3×3 matches. The overall level keeps improving year after year, ranging from amateur to national —pure joy! Some even come from Rouen or Caen. The refreshment stand and nearby restaurants offer the perfect way to cool down while enjoying the high-quality play from the teams. You can also refresh in the ocean; part of the beach is under supervision by lifeguards.
In order to register, head to the VBFLP HelloAsso page. Events are usually open to registration 2 weeks in advance. In case of afluence, an extra 8 teams might be accepted, extending the capacity of the tournaments from 24 to 32 teams
Come, play, have fun, and win plenty of prizes! The famous t-shirts are orange this year, and there are even bucket hats with the club’s name on them to complete your summer look.
