Recently, on June 27th, we had a seafood dinner at La Becterie. Two couples had just arrived in vintage cars. On the very same day, Michel and Annick had also arrived for a single night stay. They had booked through the Gîtes de France platform; it was their first trip since the passing of their dog.
All seven of us shared a typical Cotentin seafood meal together — spider crabs, oysters from Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, and whelks. A light citrus fruit salad served as dessert. Seafood dinner at La Becterie is part of our services; seafood plates are quoted on request. Products come from a local fishmonger shop named “La marée de Carteret”.

The next day, Michel and Annick left to visit Stéphane Marie’s garden visit that I personnally recommand. A few days after their stay, Michel left me a very kind message: “A welcoming and attentive host, a high-level cook, a spacious and comfortable room.”
I’m truly happy to have been able to make you feel welcome, Michel, and thank you for choosing La Becterie for your trip. I know you were able to enjoy the company of our Samoyed here a little, and that really warms my heart. The dog has also enjoyed you cuddling him.
